Director of the Environmental Protection Fund Zeljka Jurakic and President of the Romani Federation in Serbia Jovan Damjanovic signed an agreement on the realisation of project on economic integration of the Roma in recycling sector.
The project worth around EUR 2.5 million envisages that recycling sectors should open in central and south Serbia.
Jurakic said that the agreement also envisages that the Roma population should be integrated in the recycling sector, and added that the Fund set aside 1.14 million Eur for the first stage of project realisation for purposes of equipment, machine and vehicle procurement.
